IMS Announces 2 ASIAL A1-R1A Monitoring Centres In Sydney And Adelaide.

IMS Announces 2 ASIAL A1-R1A Monitoring Centres – Intelligent Monitoring Solutions (IMS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Intelligent Monitoring Group, said it has become the only Australian-owned provider operating 2 independent ASIAL A1/R1A-certified bureau monitoring centres – one in Sydney and the other in South Australia.

The certification confirms compliance with the highest Australian standard for alarm monitoring (AS 2201.2:2022), and both centres are also the only A1/R1A-certified Patriot monitoring rooms in Australia.

General manager of IMS, Paul Jones, said the investment in dual-certified centres reflects the company’s commitment to delivering industry-leading protection and reliability across Australia.

“We are committed to integrating advanced technology platforms and employing highly qualified professionals to ensure the highest quality service, enhancing our clients’ business reputation and value,” Jones said.

According to Jones, this infrastructure expansion gives IMS enhanced redundancy, resilience and disaster recovery capability, supporting uninterrupted national alarm and CCTV monitoring for critical infrastructure, government, commercial, and residential clients. Jones said that with dual A1 centres operating in different states, IMS now offers full service without downtime.

IMS has over 25 years’ experience in electronic security, video surveillance, personal safety and medical monitoring. It supports more than 800 partner bureaus nationwide, many of which don’t operate their own monitoring centres. The expanded national capability is expected to position IMS for further growth through new service agreements and extended partnerships across sectors.
