In partnership with Lloyd Group, Innov8tive Services reports the team is delighted to have been selected to deliver electronic security services for Frankston City Council’s redevelopment of Jubilee Park.
The development will deliver a world-class netball/basketball stadium facility and hub for the community, as well as adding female facilities to support the expansion of women’s football and cricket.
The stadium upgrade will enable Frankston City to host major regional netball and basketball events and welcome more players. In particular, it will enable a major increase in female participation in sport.
The stadium features 6 multipurpose indoor courts including a 1000-seat show court, elite training facilities, female-friendly change rooms and a crèche for players and spectators.
The improvements will benefit resident clubs, Frankston District Netball Association, Peninsula Waves, Frankston Peninsula Premier Cricket Club and Frankston YCW Football Netball Club, as well as community sport more broadly. The stadium will offer more opportunities for netball and basketball including the ability to host major regional netball and basketball events.
The facility will feature a cafe, community meeting and function rooms and four indoor cricket training nets and facilities to service the adjoining sports oval. Council has awarded the construction contract to Lloyd Group, with works commencing mid November 2021 and scheduled for completion in June 2023.
