SECURITY and access control distribution business ISCS, part of ARA Products, has expanded its security offering with the announcement the company will be distributing Bluvision’s range of products.

Bluvision is a complete IoT solutions provider recently acquired by HID Global, with a platform that ranges from sensor beacons, personal ID beacons, gateways and SaaS infrastructure that enables remote fleet, workflow and event management.

Bluvision’s end-to-end solution is designed to handle challenges on a global scale – capable of managing millions of events across millions of devices on a daily basis.

The Bluvision products offer a low cost, hardware agnostic infrastructure that is fast and easy to implement that allows for asset tracking, indoor location monitory, proximity marketing and extensive analytic reporting.

Stuart Harmer, managing director of ISCS and ARA Products, says Bluvision’s state-of-the-art product range is a perfect fit for ISCS, where the focus is always on offering clients the most advanced solutions possible.

“Bluvision has a very impressive line of products,” Harmer said. “All designed to increase productivity, safety and efficiency. The current applications are extremely impressive, and the potential to expand what the products can do is exceptional.”

Harmer said ISCS is particularly excited about the Real-Time Locating Systems [RTLS], which can be incorporated into the HID iClass card technology they currently offer clients. The Bluvision system provides organisations with visibility into the precise, real-time location of an asset (personnel or equipment), increasing operational efficiency, safety and profitability as well as optimising your workforce and the environment around them.

“Understanding where staff and assets are, and how space is being utilised and occupied is vitally important to organisations who are increasingly looking to improve safety and conditions for employees, and at the same time maximise efficiency.”

According to Harmer, Bluvision’s range could be a game changer for companies when it comes to equipment maintenance.

“It allows for predictive maintenance using condition monitoring, meaning our clients can remotely monitor their equipment. They can see if equipment is overheating or not performing at its optimum and take steps to address this, with the least impact on the business,” he said.

Harmer explained that while many manufacturing, warehouse and distribution facilities already focus on condition monitoring or predictive maintenance solutions for the larger motors, drives and gear boxes, they fail to take into consideration mission-critical equipment like smaller motors, bearings, rollers, conveyors, and water pumps. The Bluvision range handles the entire fleet, ensuring maximum efficiency across the board in an extremely cost-effective manner.

ISCS is an Australian-owned access control and security solutions distribution company, forming part of the ARA Group division, ARA Products. ISCS has offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane. All products are available for viewing at https://www.iscs.com.au
