Milesight OpenVision Camera With Integrated Nx Witness – Milesight’s OpenVision Series camera combines surveillance, video management, and AI processing in a single device, removing the need for separate NVRs or VMS servers.
The system is designed for simplified deployment in environments where traditional infrastructure is impractical or cost-prohibitive, such as multi-site operations or edge applications.
The OpenVision Camera integrates the full Nx Witness VMS server directly into a compact 5MP bullet or dome form factor, offering onboard recording (up to 1TB), full remote management via Nx Cloud, and support for Nx Witness version 6.0.3 with seamless firmware updates.
Local storage allows continuous recording during network downtime, while a durable IK10/IP67-rated housing supports outdoor use.
Meanwhile, the companion OpenVision Server is built on Ubuntu 22.04, has a pre-installed Linux OS, and ships with Nx Witness VMS pre-installed. It supports AI-powered analytics including people and vehicle detection, behaviour analysis, and metadata tagging through a dedicated Milesight plugin.
Designed for larger deployments, it offers dual HDD storage of up to 40TB and compatibility with NAS and future Wasabi Cloud storage options.
