Motorola Mission Critical Radio For NSW Expands.
Motorola Solutions has announced 2 NSW State Government deals with the NSW State Emergency Services (SES) and Telco Authority (NSWTA).
The SES is expanding its mission-critical radio comms for its Public Safety Network – used by 50 emergency services organisations and over 50,000 first responders – as part of the government’s A$10.5 million Flood Rescue Capability Enhancement Program.
NSW’s Motorola Mission Critical Radio
Motorola’s app will help first responders automatically switch to available broadband and even satellite networks when they’re outside radio coverage zones.
Meanwhile, NSWTA is extending its radio comms’ reach statewide with Motorola’s government broadband push-to-talk tech. It will also help emergency services organisations gain secure access to the state’s Public Safety Network and other mission-critical services while enabling mobile apps such as secure multimedia messaging and live video streaming in the field.
