Motorola Solutions Acquires Remote Video Monitoring Provider Blue Eye To Enhance Existing CCTV Applications.

Motorola Solutions Acquires Remote Video Monitoring Provider Blue Eye – Motorola Solutions has acquired Blue Eye, a US-based provider of AI-driven remote video monitoring services, for an undisclosed sum.

Blue Eye’s platform delivers real-time threat detection, live audio intervention and validated alerts, supporting security teams and law enforcement with faster decision making.

Blue Eye software integrates with existing camera and video management systems, enabling deployment into established security environments. Monitoring is supported by 24/7 security operations centres that provide activity analysis and situational awareness reporting across customer sites.

Mahesh Saptharishi, executive vice president and CTO at Motorola Solutions, said the acquisition is aimed at creating a unified process connecting detection, verification and response.

“Security professionals know that the challenge isn’t solely identifying the threat, it’s about moving from detection to action in a matter of seconds,” Saptharishi said.

Blue Eye’s system is used in retail, manufacturing and critical infrastructure to support real-time intelligence and risk mitigation.

Motorola Solutions intends to expand the RVM platform by combining its AI capabilities with Blue Eye’s detection workflows, including automated response through the Inform incident management platform. Blue Eye’s market reach will also increase through Motorola Solutions’ partner channels.

“Blue Eye’s purpose is to deliver proactive, real-time security and business optimisation,” said Steve Jackson, CEO of Blue Eye.

“Blue Eye will use Motorola Solutions’ global scale and technical capability to accelerate its roadmap.”
