NAS Distributing AJAX NVR – NAS Australia is distributing the AJAX 8 and 16 input range of NVRs, which the company says offer “security, speed and an effortless user experience”.
AJAX NVR employs password-less authentication via mTLS to prevent fraud, with real-time status for instant supervision, and tampers and accelerometers for physical protection of hardware, multi-tiered 2FA account security, and extensive privacy, including session controls, and password/biometric login.
To ensure speed AJAX developed a proprietary video transmission technology called JetSparrow, which was designed to deliver what AJAX calls an ‘ultra-fast VMS experience’. Meanwhile AI functions are embedded into the cameras with data processing done on the camera side for fast archive browsing and live view initiation.

AJAX NVRs and cameras are NDAA-compliant and all design, hardware, software, video streaming, built-in AI, server-side, apps, and manufacturing are handled inhouse by AJAX. The H264/H265 support NVRs and cameras are seamlessly integrated into the AJAX ecosystem and can be easily managed in the AJAX app.
Features of AJAX NVR include instant alarm verification in high-resolution, ONVIF/RTSP support, adjustable motion detection for cameras, HDD status notifications in the app, fast archive navigation with dual stream technology and archive synchronization with system events.
The AJAX NVR incorporates a customizable virtual videowall, auto-search cameras in the network for fast connection, SmartBracket mount with a tamper, up to 16 TB SATA HDD support, remote control and configuration. The NVRs incorporate a fan-less design, have built-in power supply power unit, HDD fixation and LED indicator.
