New Apple Home Hub Coming In 2025.

New Apple Home Hub Coming – Reports from Bloomberg suggest that Apple will release a smart home hub in 2025.

Apple’s new home hub is slated for release in 2025. It’s reported to be a 6-inch wall-mounted touchscreen that will control smart home devices, make video calls and be empowered by Apple Apple Intelligence or the planned App Intents.

According to Mark Gurman, Apple Home Hub will run on a new operating system, will feature sensors allowing it to detect user proximity, and will also incorporate Safari, Apple Music, Notes and Calendar.

The device will have a non-removable rechargeable battery, a built-in FaceTime camera and speakers, will connect with a base incorporating speakers, will allow in-house face-timing, as well as calling up CCTV camera views and footage, control of smart home devices and more.

Entertainingly, Apple is also claimed to be working on an iPad attached to a robotic arm that follows you around the room, though whether this is more useful than using one of your own arms is an open question.

The new operating system is said to have the feel of a combination of watchOS and the Standby Mode for iPhone and available colours will be silver and black. Price is likely to compete with Google Nest Hub, which peaks at about $US250.
