New Kwikset Z-Wave HomeConnect – ASSA ABLOY’s Kwikset has expanded its Z-Wave smart lock lineup with the addition of the new HomeConnect 918 and HomeConnect 620 locks.

Kwikset HomeConnect 918 supports up to 250 unique user codes and has S2 security encryption to mitigate unauthorized access. The unit integrates SmartStart provisioning for streamlined setup and leverages Z-Wave Long Range technology to extend wireless communication, improve response times, and enhance battery efficiency—making.
Meanwhile, the HomeConnect 620 now includes Z-Wave Long Range technology. Like the 918, it supports 250 user codes, S2 security encryption, and SmartStart provisioning for fast integration with Z-Wave smart home platforms, including Ring Alarm.
Both models feature Kwikset’s SmartKey Security technology, designed to defend against lock-picking techniques while allowing homeowners to rekey their locks within seconds—an essential capability for both security-conscious users and property managers overseeing multiple access points.
