New NIDAC Prescient 2-Door Expansion Module Includes 6 Monitored Inputs And 4 Relays.

New NIDAC Prescient 2-Door Expansion Module – NIDAC has released the new Prescient 2-door expansion module delivering additional monitored inputs and relays.

“We’re excited to announce that 2-door expansion is now available for the Prescient security and access control platform, delivering greater scalability and flexibility for growing facilities,” says NIDAC’s Paula Nicholls.

The Prescient security and access control platform now supports a 2-door expansion module designed to provide a compact and cost-effective way to extend system capability.

The expansion board includes 6 monitored inputs with end-of-line support, along with 2 x 5A SPDT relay outputs and 2 x 2A SPDT relay outputs to support door control and auxiliary functions.

The board incorporates low-power detection with LED indication to provide clear local status feedback while up to 8 expansion boards can be connected to a single DN4 controller, with a maximum cable distance of 250m between the EOL board and the DN4, allowing flexible deployment across larger sites.
