New TP-Link Entry-Level Wi-Fi 7 Enterprise Access Point – TP-Link’s entry level dual band Wi-Fi 7 EAP723 Enterprise Access Point will arrive in Australia soon.

According to TP-Link’s John Lee, Wi-Fi 7 is the upcoming Wi-Fi standard, also known as IEEE 802.11be Extremely High Throughput (EHT). Wi-Fi 7 works across all 3 bands (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz) to fully utilize spectrum resources.

“While Wi-Fi 6 was built in response to the growing number of devices in the world, Wi-Fi 7’s goal is to deliver astounding speeds for every device with greater efficiency,” Lee explains.

“If you’re struggling with constant buffering, lag, or congestion, a Wi-Fi 7 enterprise access point may be your best solution.

“Wi-Fi 7 introduces 320MHz ultra-wide bandwidth, 4096-QAM, Multi-RU, and multi-link operation to provide speeds 4.8x faster than Wi-Fi 6 and 13x faster than Wi-Fi 5.”

TP-Link’s entry level EAP723 Wi-Fi 7 router operates on dual bands, delivering 2882Mbps on 5GHz + 688Mbps on 2.4GHz. The router has a 2.5G port while its 160MHz bandwidth enables many more simultaneous transmissions. There are Multi-RUs for high performance and advanced functions include centralised management, mesh, seamless roaming and the device works with the new free Omada Essential Cloud platform.
