New TP-Link VIGI Cloud VMS – TP-Link’s new free and unlimited VIGI Cloud VMS enhances the company’s CCTV offering by giving users intuitive video monitoring, including a dashboard, with live views, event and time-based playback, real-time map monitoring and unified event management.
VIGI Cloud VMS is a public cloud-hosted video management system that centralises and remotely manages security devices across multiple sites via app. It offers basic features like video monitoring, event management, and device maintenance, alongside advanced features such as map monitoring of 300 points per map, a designer tool, and multi-user permission control.
This AWS-based VMS is designed for multi-site monitoring scenarios, such as chain stores and distributed offices, enhancing video management efficiency. The system is multi-user and features privilege/access management and has an unlimited number of users and sites, with 3 site levels (organisation, site and subsite).
The solution has unlimited channels for VIGI devices (256 channels per site) and supports 64-channels for third-party cameras added through VIGI NVR, with 16-channel synchronous live playback via web portal or VIGI app, and 9-channel playback on web plug-in and PC client.
Local streaming is unlimited (via web plugin, app and PC client), and there’s support for 2 concurrent streaming clients per camera. Up to 1,000,000 events are retained for 180 days and there’s rules history and log retention of up to 90 days.
