New Videoman VM-5000-Doorstation – New Videoman VM-5000-Doorstation is an IP-enabled video intercom designed for apartments, gated communities, commercial buildings and shared workspaces.

Supporting up to 100 devices per system and a 50-metre cable run from monitors or PoE switch, the unit combines a 2MP wide-angle camera with a 4-inch LCD touchscreen, Mifare Plus reader, and Wiegand 26 output for integration with third-party access control systems.

Designed for flush mounting, the VM-5000 includes IR night vision for round-the-clock visibility and two unlock methods for flexible access. DHCP-enabled and powered by PoE (IEEE802.3af/at), it offers plug-and-play installation and minimal cabling. Integrated Tuya app support allows remote unlocking and intercom functionality from smartphones.

Built specifically for ANZ, the VM-5000-Doorstation is compliant with Australian and New Zealand electrical standards. Typical use cases include residential buildings with dedicated monitor units, secure offices using multiple doorstations, and commercial sites with RFID or mobile access via the Tuya platform.

Videoman’s modular approach and support for multiple doorstations per site make the VM-5000 system scalable for complex multi-tenant installations. System configuration, including IP assignment and card registration, is supported via QR-code pairing with the Tuya app.
