SEN test target, Norman, said he was blown away by the quality of PTZ entries for SecTech Camera Shootout in Sydney May 4 (register here!).
“There are some serious cameras in this lineup,” Norman said yesterday, as he helped cable up a big Uniview PTZ. "It's an impressive group that will show integrators and end users what the very best PTZs can offer security teams monitoring large sites in real time.”
“As far as I know, there’s never been a PTZ shootout of this quality anywhere in the world – it’s an absolute don’t-miss for those integrators and end users who work with large sites.”
Norman said he wasn’t prepared to call the contest because no-one had ever seen these cameras square off against each other.
“I’ll be saving my money for the place depending on conditions – I don’t want to be a mug punter,” Norman said. “If we see a heavy track at Randwick, it might favour some of the more compact entrants but if the techs get their settings right, every camera is a swooper in this race and the only certainty is that we'll see a photo finish.” ♦
