North Metro TAFE Needs Access Control – North Metro TAFE in Perth is seeking a comprehensive enterprise access control system upgrade.
Programmed Facility Management on behalf of Department of Finance and Department of Workforce and Training Development has requested tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake building access control system works at North Metro TAFE’s – Perth Campus, East Perth Campus and Leederville Campus.
The scope of works includes upgrade of control software and server installed at the nominated Campus, as direct by the client, and the upgrade of control and communications equipment.
The sites need new intelligent door controllers, integration to existing electric locking devices, new card readers to replace existing readers and new cards to replace existing cards.
The successful tenderer will undertake modifications, extension and re-routing to existing cabling as required, as well as interconnecting cabling and hardware and the installation of new enclosure cabinets to replace existing cabinets and to house control equipment.
Also required are a battery backup (6.5-hour minimum) and power supply, programming of the new system to match the user groups required by the client and training of security staff on operation.
