“Thank you to all the unsuccessful nominees for your interest in joining the council,” said SLED director, Cameron Smith.

NSW Security Licensing Advisory Council was established to create a forum for the regular exchange of information and ideas between the security industry and the NSW Police Force on issues relevant to the regulation of the industry.

Industry representatives nominate to be on the council and are elected by the outgoing industry representatives. They serve a 2-year membership term and are not eligible for consecutive terms as council members. Meetings are held 4 times a year in February, May, August and November to address issues around security licensing.
