NT Government Seeks ASIAL A1 Alarm Monitoring and Emergency Calls – Northern Territory Government via the Department of Logistics and Infrastructure seeks a provider for emergency and after-hours answering services and ASIAL Grade A1 security alarm monitoring across its government asset portfolio.
According to the tender release, the successful contractor must operate a currently certified ASIAL A1 graded security monitoring centre and will be required to provide full-time 24/7 electronic security system monitoring. The scope includes receiving and responding to calls from departmental staff and members of the public regarding faults, incidents, and problems associated with NT Government facilities.

The provider must action and log alarm events and service calls for fast resolution, as well as provide reporting on alarm activations, system status changes, and related call-out activity upon request.

The contract will support NT Government assets across the entire Northern Territory, with the awarded contractor expected to deliver high availability, reliable logging, and coordinated emergency response for an initial period of 36 months. The Department reserves the right to request detailed call-out data and expects the awarded supplier to carry out work in accordance with contract specifications.
The Department of Logistics and Infrastructure, which was renamed from the former Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics in September 2024, oversees infrastructure projects, transport operations, procurement and regional services for the NT Government.
