Origin Seeks Security For Yanco – Origin Energy is seeking expressions of interest from providers of security-related products and services for the Yanco Delta Wind Farm development, a 1.5GW renewable energy project in the NSW Riverina.
The tender includes multiple work packages directly related to physical and electronic security, including CCTV, access control, fencing, gates, and site-wide security services.
The Yanco Delta Wind Farm is a monster and will comprise up to 208 turbines across 33,000 hectares, with construction expected to begin in 2027. The development will connect to the Dinawan Substation and falls within the South-West Renewable Energy Zone (REZ). Origin will oversee all aspects of the development.
Security subcontracting packages include site-wide CCTV and access control systems, permanent and temporary fencing and gate infrastructure, and site security services. These works form part of broader infrastructure packages, which also include substations, underground cabling, access tracks, and temporary facilities.
These security packages are scheduled to close on November 25, 2026. Other relevant scopes to security integrators including site-wide communications and lighting poles and towers are also open, with some packages closing December 17, 2026.
