Oz Minerals Seeks Network, CCTV
♦ Oz Minerals seeks network, CCTV supply and install at its evolving West Musgrave development in Western Australia.
Oz Minerals West Musgrave Operations requires the services of a suitably qualified and resourced company to undertake the build, supply, and installation of the site network for operation at the planned mine site.
The network must support a highly available network to all locations across the mine site, including Wi-Fi and CCTV services. Note that Oz Minerals continues to weigh up its development of what is world’s largest nickel and copper project. This huge site has a 26-year life, will generate profound development, and is likely to require additional security solutions of significant scale and complexity.
Oz Minerals is also investigating innovative off-grid renewable power and processing solutions, underpinned by up to 80 per cent renewable electricity generation from solar and wind for the project, all of which will increase infrastructure and the requirement for its protection.
Current scope of works includes:
• Supply, configuration, test, and installation of the equipment as per the OZ/Cisco supplied detailed design
• Core, distribution, access switching – both standard and industrial
• Wi-Fi Access points and controllers
• Connection to and implementation of logical network to 2 redundant highly available data centres, office and workshop buildings, processing plant, private LTE services, corporate WAN.
This tender ends July 1 – more information here.
