♦ Peter Ball Trains At LSC – LSC has announced the appointment of Peter Ball as national training manager. Based in Melbourne, this newly created role will see Ball develop a range of training programs to support installers develop their professional skillset and product knowledge.

“We are delighted to welcome Peter to the LSC family” said Rhys Saxon, head of product and technical services at LSC. “This new role will help ensure our TechED training courses remain relevant and engaging for installers at every career stage”.

Ball comes to LSC from PMT Security Systems, where he was leading hand on major projects for the past 5 years. He has 24 years’ experience in both electronic security and the locksmith industry with specific interest in addressing the skill and labour shortages in the industry.

“Peter’s passion for security technology is infectious and we are confident that installers will find his training programs both informative and fun,” said Saxon.

Ball has hit the ground running at LSC, delivering a sold-out RISCO LightSYS Plus training program at the national distribution centre in Melbourne in early August. Participants spent the day installing and configuring a RISCO LightSYS Plus system on custom designed training boards.

“The feedback from our first RISCO LightSYS Plus training session has been overwhelmingly positive,” said Saxon. “We look forward to rolling out this program across our entire branch network over the next coming months”.

LSC is an Australia-owned distributor of security systems, including access control, intrusion, and CCTV products, from manufacturers including SALTO Systems, HID Global, Dahua Technology, Milesight and RISCO Group.
