QVM CCTV and Access Control Solutions Across The QVM Precinct.
QVM CCTV and Access Control Solutions – Queen Victoria Market is seeking tenders for the provision of CCTV services and access control systems across the Queen Victoria Market precinct in Melbourne.
The iconic market, affectionately known as Queen Vic or Vic Market, is one of Melbourne’s most recognisable landmarks. With over 140 years of history, it spans 2 city blocks and is home to hundreds of small businesses serving both locals and tourists. Meanwhile, QVMPL, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the City of Melbourne, is responsible for the ongoing management and operations of the site.

This tender seeks to support the long-term security and operational integrity of the market through supply, maintenance, and service delivery of electronic security systems, including CCTV surveillance and access control. The works are expected to support public safety, site monitoring, staff access management, and the protection of market assets and infrastructure.
A site inspection will be held at 9:30am on Wednesday, September 10, at the Queen’s Food Hall on Queen Street. Participation in this inspection is expected for all interested suppliers.
Tender documentation will be made available upon registration, which is free for all suppliers. Enquiries must be submitted through the official online forum – note that QVMPL staff will not respond to direct verbal enquiries.
Submissions must be fully uploaded into the electronic tender box before the closing time of 11am on September 24. Late or incorrectly submitted responses will not be considered, according to the principal.
