RetireAustralia Seeks Panel for Security, Electrical and Access Systems Across 29 Sites.
RetireAustralia Seeks Panel for Security, Electrical and Access Systems – RetireAustralia is seeking to establish a panel of pre-qualified providers for facilities management services across 29 of its aged care and retirement living villages in New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia. Security, electrical, and access control contractors form part of the tender scope.
Key security components include the provision of on-site security guards, as well as monitoring of alarms and CCTV systems. The scope of monitoring may extend to multiple village environments with varying requirements depending on resident density, public access areas, and integration with local emergency services. The tender also includes maintenance of automatic doors, roller doors, and boom gates—often used to control vehicle and pedestrian access in these locations.
Electrical services are included in the panel contract and may cover reactive and preventative works, including fault-finding, lighting upgrades, switchboard inspections, and essential safety measures. The panel will also cover the installation, testing and tagging of portable appliances, thermal imaging for preventative maintenance, and broader communications infrastructure works.
While fencing and gates are not called out separately in the service categories, they may well fall under general handyman services, perimeter maintenance, or be included in the scope for access control and door automation works as required.
Engaged providers will form part of a panel agreement valid for 3 years under a Master Goods and Services Agreement, with engagement based on operational requirements. Appointment to the panel does not guarantee minimum volumes or value of work but allows for participation in request-for-quote processes covering both reactive and scheduled services.
