Rex Seeks CCTV For Hillside Project – Rex Minerals is progressing development of the Hillside Project, a copper-gold mining operation located on South Australia’s Yorke Peninsula.
As part of the project’s infrastructure rollout, Rex is calling for expressions of interest from suitably qualified contractors for the supply and design of CCTV systems and provision of site security services.
These work packages are part of a broader mine development that includes a 6 Mt/a copper-gold processing plant, a tailings storage facility, and associated infrastructure, making Hillside one of the largest copper-gold mines in Australia.
Security contractors will be required to support the site’s operational readiness by implementing robust surveillance coverage and perimeter protection in line with mining sector requirements.
The CCTV scope includes equipment supply and system design, likely incorporating fixed and possibly mobile surveillance platforms suited to remote industrial environments.
