RISCO RWX350DC400B Outdoor Detector Camera – RISCO Beyond is a 2-way wireless detector camera featuring dual technology sensing with pet immunity and an integrated camera for visual alarm verification day and night.
“RISCO Beyond is completely wireless and simple to install in any location that lacks wiring infrastructure,” said DAS’ James Layton.
“Setting the most effective and appropriate range according to specific installation requirements is easy thanks to the flexible installation of both adjustable 180-degree swivel bracket, as well as the mounting height, which varies from 1.8m to 2.7m.
“The dual technology sensing system combines 2 K-band microwave channels with 2 PIR sensors, delivering highly accurate catch performance and pet immunity, virtually eliminating false alarms.”

To overcome environmental changes in outdoor applications, Beyond utilises RISCO Sway Recognition Technology which recognises and dismisses objects that sway and move repeatedly, such as swaying bushes and trees. In addition, RISCO Digital Correlation Technology ensures only targets causing similar and correlating signals in both PIR channels are seen as potential threats.
The sensor also incorporates RISCO Direct Sunlight Immunity, an algorithm that allows Beyond to ignore sudden changes in the intensity of sunlight, eliminating one of the major causes of false alarms in outdoor environments.
Beyond is powered by 3 x CR123 3V lithium batteries providing up 3 years battery life. This can be extended to 6 years using the solar swivel bracket. Risco’s Beyond 2-Way Wireless DT Outdoor Detector with Camera, as well as the compatible LightSYS+ and WiComm Pro alarm panels are now available from DAS.
