River Torrens to Darlington Tunnel CCTV Tender Released.
River Torrens to Darlington Tunnel CCTV – South Australia’s Department for Infrastructure and Transport is seeking CCTV for the River Torrens to Darlington tunnel project.
The project incorporates a pair of 3-lane tunnels – the Northern Tunnel and Southern Tunnel – connected by an open motorway comprising 10.5km of roadway in total. Connecting key routes such as Richmond Road and James Congdon Drive, the project will provide critical east-west connectivity and links to key destinations, such as the Adelaide Airport
The consortium of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has been selected to build the tunnels, which constitutes South Australia’s biggest-ever road infrastructure project, employing 5500 workers. In partnership with the South Australian Government this consortium forms the T2D Alliance.
