NZ’s Ministry of Justice has gone to tender seeking a security upgrade to the front entrance of Rotorua Courts in Rotorua, which are home to Rotorua District and High Courts.
The scope of works is comprehensive and includes the demolition of the existing security office, the building/conversion of a new security office, the installation of a new X-Ray machine, relocation of a magnetometer, installation of a new speed gate and installation of a new auto door.
As Rotorua Courts is operational, all works will have to be undertaken out of hours and noisy works are to comply with Schedule 18 of the contract. Careful planning will be required to ensure no disruption to the daily working of the court and the Health and Safety of the public is maintained.
