S & A Reed has won a $A70,000 contract to install an automated sliding gate adjacent to Rockhampton Airport.
Rockhampton Regional Council required a 7-metre automatic motorised gate for Gate 21 at the western end of Aviation Drive, Rockhampton, adjacent to Peace Aviation.
The scope of works included supply, install and commissioning, concrete footings and gate guide rail, electrical and data cable installation, dual card posts for entry/exit, 120m cable run for power and 35m for data, lights with auto switching, induction loops and a CCTV camera to capture the area.
