ASIS ACT’s dinner, which ran in the evening after the concurrent ASIS Seminars and Security and Government Expo in Canberra, drew an excellent crowd from the tight-knot local community, including guest of honour, Captain Ainsley Morthorpe, RAN.
The dinner had a number of highlights, brief speeches from sponsors Manteena and SRA Solutions, an hilarious comedy duo from the Stevenson twins, who had got their heads well and truly around the security industry and mixed it up with some humorous insights into the lives of identical twins and finally, a very funny membership pitch from ASIS ACT.
But the central aspect of the evening was great conversation and plenty of relationship building. The National Press Club proved a great venue and the event was well organised, most enjoyable and an excellent way to wrap up a successful day.
