SECTECH Roadshow rolls into Melbourne Park Function Centre – Batman Avenue, Melbourne on Wednesday, May 11.

The exhibition opens at 12pm, the Camera Shootout runs at 3pm – that’s right – it’s so huge we can only run the shootout one time for an hour with half an hour for questions and re-plays. Once the demo is over, we’ll segue into Happy Hour with loads of unbelievable prizes from 4.30-6pm.

SecTech Roadshow (register here for Melbourne!) is the perfect opportunity to see the industry’s leading manufacturers and distributors and all the latest electronic security products to your home town! No travel costs, no accommodation costs and everything is free. See all the latest electronic security products and solutions from Hills, Bosch, Inner Range, QSS, BGWT, Digiguard, Hikvision, Panasonic, C.R. Kennedy, Dahua, Mobotix, Sylo, Tyco, LSC, Canon and Axis Communications in one perfectly focused day!

At SecTech Camera Shootout we’ll test the best CCTV cameras in the business across 3 categories, Best Lowlight/All-Rounder, Best Compact Entry Dome and Best 4K/5MP Plus in low light, backlight and IR light, paying special attention to low light, backlight, IR and motion blur. Participating camera manufacturers include Bosch, Vivotek, Axis, Canon, Hikvision, Uniview, Dallmeier, Dahua, Panasonic, Sony and Samsung, our VMS is Genetec 5.4, we are using a Genetec server and a Juniper switch.

At all times we’ll be paying attention to key parameters like motion blur, colour rendition, contrast, sharpness, flare and ghosting, latency, ISO noise and noise suppression and rebuild artefacts. Our test targets, Norman and Ronnie Rotakin are especially interested highlighting motion blur in unassisted low light, given blur plays such an important role in denying face recognition, LPR and identification of moving vehicles.

SecTech Roadshow is at the Adelaide Convention Centre today, will visit you Melbourne people on May 11, hits Sydney on Monday May 16 and Brisbane on May 18, giving installers, integrators, consultants and end users a chance to see the latest electronic security solutions in their own cities. And after you’ve seen the new stuff, it’s also the perfect chance for security people to catch up with friends and do some valuable networking with other suppliers, installers, integrators and end users.

SecTech Roadshow is about new electronic security products and solutions, what they offer and how they work – no more and no less. Don’t miss it at Melbourne Park Function Centre – Batman Avenue, Melbourne this coming Wednesday, May 11, 12-6pm. Register here! We look forward to seeing you there! ♦
