♦ Spyker Wins Mandurah CCTV – Spyker Technologies has won a $255,000 contract to provide CCTV installation and maintenance services to the City of Mandurah in Western Australia.

City of Mandurah went to tender seeking an experienced organisation to provide CCTV installation and maintenance services – Spyker was founded in 2011 with focus on IT and CCTV and is based at Mandurah, WA’s second-largest city.

The city’s CCTV system had an $A350,000 upgrade in 2018 which included the installation of new CCTV cameras, updating existing cameras, and the installation of a new optic fibre network from the City’s Civic Building, along the Eastern Foreshore to the Mandurah Bridge, and across to Western Foreshore.

The placement of the new CCTV cameras was worked out in consultation with the WA Police, which provided valuable insights into crime hot spots. The city’s CCTV system is monitored by officers at the Mandurah Police Station and city rangers.
