StaffSafe From Ultimate Wins Best Product Runner Up – Ultimate Security Australia StaffSafe solution has won best product runner up at Security Exhibition & Conference in Sydney, with Sintela taking Best in Show.

SEN got a demo of StaffStafe at the event and it’s a neat use of technology. Using the keypad, frontline staff have direct contact to security control room operators who can assess, de-escalate or coordinate emergency response based on the circumstances.
StaffSafe is activated via a discreet on-site keypad. The keypad incorporates functions including Audible Assist, Silent Assist, ASB, Lock Down and Restaurant/Store Closing. Pressing a key can trigger alert tones, initiate a pre-recorded message, or establish immediate 2-way voice communication with a 24-hour monitoring centre. Operators use real-time audio and visual tools to listen, observe, and respond based on client-specific protocols.
From managing abuse and shoplifting to assisting lone workers in distress, StaffSafe operators can talk directly to staff and suspects, providing guidance and assurance while contacting emergency services where required. Covert triggers and operator-led CCTV access allow the system to be used without escalation, while features such as routine staff call-ins and activity checks offer further confidence to employees operating in higher-risk environments.
The system is intended to enhance personal safety and reduce the risk of injury, loss, and psychological harm in retail environments, particularly where staff may be working alone, dealing with intoxicated or aggressive individuals, or handling cash outside daylight hours.
