Tamworth Regional Council is seeking interest from companies who have the ability to provide and install passenger screening security equipment to meet the current requirements of the Department of Home Affairs for the screening of passengers and baggage at airports within Australia.

Tamworth Regional Airport is a large regional airport servicing the North West of NSW. The airport is serviced by QantasLink and Virgin Airlines with multiple daily flights between Tamworth and Sydney and Fly Corporate operating daily flights between Tamworth and Brisbane. The annual passenger throughput numbers are currently approximately 200,000 and increasing.

Tamworth Regional Airport is also a major flight training facility with a large training college on the airport. The airport is also a preeminent maintenance hub for the QantasLink operations and the general aviation sector. The airport is also home to the Aviskills Training facility which provides training for aircraft maintenance engineers.

All tenders must be received by Thursday, 26 March 2020. They must be submitted on the forms provided by the Principal – Tender Submission Documents by email to trc@tamworth.nsw.gov.au or enclosed in a sealed envelope and the envelope marked legibly as follows:
