TE Papa Tongarewa (the place of treasures) Museum of New Zealand in Wellington has entered a contract with Red Wolf High Level Security to replace existing security cameras around the Te Papa building on Cable St with new high definition units.

Te Papa was designed by Jasmax Architects and built by Fletcher Construction at a cost of $NZ300 million. Earthquake strengthening of the building was achieved through the New Zealand-developed technology of base isolation – essentially seating the entire building on supports made from lead, steel and rubber that slow down the effect of an earthquake.

Te Papa’s History Collection includes many dresses and textiles, the oldest of which date back to the 16th century. The History Collection also includes the New Zealand Post Archive with around 20,000 stamps and related objects, and the Pacific Collection with about 13,000 historic and contemporary items from the Pacific Islands.

Red Wolf Security is a full service security provider. It's Red Wolf High Level Security Division handles major integration projects for government and commercial organisations. Major clients include Wellington City Council, for which Red Wolf High Level Security, in conjunction with Bosch Security New Zealand, has provided a security management solution for 35 sites, using Bosch cameras, DiBos DVRs, BVMS workstations, and Gallagher access control. ♦
