Transport for NSW CCTV Tender To Support Surveillance Network Expansion With Bosch And Axis Cameras Released.
Transport for NSW CCTV Tender – Transport for NSW has released a tender seeking the supply of CCTV cameras and associated accessories to support the ongoing expansion and renewal of its transport surveillance network across New South Wales.
The engagement covers the supply of Bosch and or Axis cameras, including mounts, enclosures and power supplies, ordered on an as required basis over the life of the contract. Equipment will be shipped to nominated office locations only, with no requirement for delivery to field deployment sites. Respondents may submit offers for one brand or both, with Transport for NSW reserving the right to appoint one or multiple suppliers. The proposed contract term is 3 years, with 2 extension options of 1 year each.

The cameras will support the operations of the Transport Management Centre, which manages the NSW transport network in real time. The centre relies on video systems for network monitoring, traffic control, incident response coordination, event management and the dissemination of transport information to emergency services, external agencies and media outlets. The Field Technology Team has identified the need for additional cameras, driven by significant network growth and the accelerated replacement of ageing assets over the past 5 years.
Transport for NSW is the principal agency responsible for planning, delivering and operating transport services across road, rail, maritime and active transport networks. Through the Transport Management Centre, the agency plays a central role in maintaining network safety, efficiency and resilience, particularly during incidents, major disruptions and large scale public events. Surveillance and situational awareness systems are a critical operational tool supporting these functions.
Participation in the tender requires respondents to execute a non-negotiable confidentiality deed poll before gaining access to the RFP documentation via the Ariba portal.
The tender is open to authorised Bosch and or Axis distributors and resellers who are members, or in the process of registering, under the ICT Services Scheme SCM0020.
This Transport for NSW CCTV tender closes 3pm NSW time on 6 February 2026. Information about this tender can be obtained by clicking here. More SEN News articles are located here.
