Viking Security Installs Inner Range CCTV – Perth-based Viking Security Solutions has completed its first deployment of the Inner Range CCTV Gateway integrated with an Inception intrusion detection system for a residential customer.
The integration allows event-driven camera analytics to trigger alarms and send push notifications to users via the Inner Range IR Connect app. Viking Security’s Erik Löfström said the company was pleased with the performance of the system.
“We’re stoked to announce the successful completion of our first Inner Range CCTV gateway and camera installation, fully integrated with the Inception intruder alarm system provided for our client,” Löfström said.
“At first glance, it looks, feels, and runs much like any other NVR and camera setup but with the added intelligence of camera analytics directly linked to Inception and IR Connect app push notifications.
“While the product is still in its early days of development, we were impressed with how smoothly it performed in linking perimeter camera analytics with real-time alarm events in the Inception system.”
Additional systems delivered by Viking for its customer included an Akuvox IP intercom, 3 access-controlled doors, full wireless access coverage throughout the premises, and NBN lead-in relocation to a dedicated comms cabinet.
Löfström acknowledged Wesco Anixter Security Branches Australia for supplying loan equipment that allowed bench testing and validation ahead of deployment.
