Western Power Seeks Security Services Including CCTV Monitoring And Alarm Response Across All Sites.
Western Power Seeks Physical Security – Western Power has released an expression of interest for the provision of a wide range of security services across its corporate, operational and critical infrastructure sites.
This is a significant scope of works that requires implementation of an end-to-end security solution combining access control and visitor management, surveillance monitoring, incident response, routine patrols, mobile alarm response, escort services and static guarding.
The requirement is for continuous and event-driven coverage, with suppliers expected to deliver 24/7 on-site security at key corporate locations, mobile patrols across the wider asset network, and temporary static guard deployment where heightened risk or breach conditions are identified.
On-site security services are required at Western Power’s principal corporate sites in the Perth CBD, Forrestdale and Jandakot. These services are focused on access control, visitor processing, surveillance oversight, customer service and concierge functions, incident response and routine inspections to protect staff, facilities and assets.
Mobile site patrol services extend coverage to substations, terminals and other operational infrastructure across the South-West Interconnected System, providing planned and reactive patrols, alarm attendance, system checks and escort duties. Static guarding services will deliver visible deterrence and protection at locations where risk assessments identify the need for dedicated guard presence.
The EOI seeks suppliers capable of delivering compliant security operations across a geographically dispersed portfolio of sites supporting critical electricity transmission and distribution infrastructure. The objective is to ensure consistent physical security, rapid incident response capability and resilient protection of people, property and network assets.
Western Power is the Western Australian Government-owned corporation responsible for operating, maintaining and developing the state’s electricity transmission and distribution network. It manages critical energy infrastructure serving WA’s South-West Interconnected System and operates corporate, depot and field facilities across metropolitan and regional Western Australia.
