SECTECH Roadshow hits Adelaide tomorrow May 18 (pre-register here!) and Perth next Tuesday, May 23 (pre-register here!) – here are some of the highlights you shouldn’t miss!

QSS is distributing the Sunell range of CCTV solutions, including Sunell’s SN-IPR57/41ACDN/Z  4MP Mini Eyeball, which is a true WDR camera, offering high resolution video up to 4MP with WDR and Starvis technology, in high contrast or in low light environments.

Honeywell is showing its HBL2GR1 WDR IR Rugged IP Bullet Camera has Full HD 1080p at 25/30 fps image with a 1/2.8-inch 2MP sensor, True WDR, up to 140 dB, True Day/Night capability, Ultra Low Light technology and 3D noise reduction, saving storage and bandwidth together with H.264 High Profile codec, working temperature is -40C to 60C, there’s ONVIF Profile S and G compliance, security features include individual signed certificates and data encryption, and there’s support for up to 128 GB microSDHC (Class 10) card for local video storage when network is interrupted. There’s 2.7-12 mm or 5-50 mm, F1.4, motorized focus/zoom lens options, 60m IR, IP67 and IK10 vandal-resistant camera housing.

Meanwhile, LSC Security Supplies is showing its new AMC alarm panel and getting loads of interest. Founded in 1974, AMC Alarms has a comprehensive range of alarm devices and accessories.

Consolidated Security Merchants has also got plenty of interest in its new DDS access control and intrusion panel at SecTech Roadshow. DDS offers extreme scalability to support a broad range of applications from single sites to large complex high security multi-site applications and the latest cutting-edge hardware with high performance enterprise software. CSD is presenting the latest from Inner Range’s SkyGuard platform in the IOT (Internet Of Things) market place. SkyGuard turns the residential home security market on its head by offering a connected home to mobile solution that can be monitored, provide video from multiple internal and external cameras, see and talk to IP Intercoms and control z-wave home automation devices. Push notifications to smart device backed by high resolution video and alarm verification provide the ultimate interface for complete interaction with your smart home solution.

Meanwhile, Bosch is pushing 2 key things at SecTech – you can see the new DIVAR network and hybrid  recorders in action on the Bosch stand, as well as previewing the new automation app for the Bosch G Series and Solution 2000/3000 alarm panels – this app offers tons of functionality and is well worth a close look.

Video Alarm Technologies (VAT) has a live demonstration of Facial Recognition software – by Herta, with modules including BIO Access, BIO Security, BIO Finder and BIO Marketing.

VSP is showing Edesix VideoBadge is a user-friendly, robust and secure body worn camera, often styled as an ID card holder. These BWCs are capable of efficiently recording shift-long HD video and audio footage from the viewpoint of the operator. Together with custom developed VideoManager software for handling, editing and sharing BWC footage, VideoBadges provide users with an advanced, easy-to-use solution for gathering and readying evidence of recorded incidents.
