PAXTON Access, a global manufacturer of IP access control and door entry solutions distributed locally by Security Distributors Australia, has opened a new technology and innovation centre next door to its headquarters in Brighton, England.
The 29,000-square-foot Paxton Technology Centre is home to the company’s product R&D departments.
“We are delighted with our new center and feel it’s a real statement of intent showing the direction the company is moving. For over 30 years, we have aimed for engineering excellence, designing and manufacturing intelligent and innovative security products,” said Paxton Group CEO, Adam Stroud.
“The investment we continue to make into product research and development, enables us to continue to drive innovation within the global security market.”
The new R&D center has been designed to create a dynamic and collaborative working environment for the company’s head office team, Stroud said.
It features an open plan working space that Stroud said creates the perfect setting to support hundreds of decisions being made every day to progress the company towards further global expansion and the diversification of its extensive product range.
