Dicker DAS To Distribute Hikvision – Dicker Data’s Access and Surveillance Division (DAS) has been appointed an authorised distributor for Hikvision products in Australia.
Effective from today February 1 DAS will be distributing the entire range of Hikvision products and solutions, including IP cameras, network video recorders, intercom, access control, alarm, data communication, audio and visual, mobile security and other AI-driven technologies.
Vlad Mitnovetski executive director and CEO of Dicker Data said he was pleased to welcome Hikvision to the DAS business.
“Their advanced access and surveillance products are a strong fit for our thousands of partners, who are designing security solutions for commercial and residential purposes each day,” Mitnovetski said.
“Hikvision complements several of the solutions we distribute and further bolsters our position as the market leader for access and surveillance solutions in Australia. According to Evan Liu, CEO of Hikvision Oceania, DAS is poised to elevate its standing through a strategic partnership with Hikvision.

Lui said Hikvision’s investment into the artificial intelligence of things (AIoT) is revolutionising the security industry and will enable DAS to offer advanced threat detection and prevention and predictive security solutions to partners.
“Through a combination of advanced monitoring, automation and historical data analysis, Hikvision’s AIoT solutions will help partners to proactively address security challenges as they arise, adding a new dimension to the security offerings they are currently taking to market.
“Furthermore, Hikvision’s AI-powered biometric authentication technologies, such as facial and voice recognition, will enable partners to deliver seamless customer experiences for access control,” Liu said.
Hikvision is available in all 10 DAS branches nationwide from today, with dedicated product displays, extensive local stock holdings in every state, interactive demonstration rooms and product information sessions being run for all new and existing partners.
