Western Downs Regional Council Seeks Alarms Access Control Solution.
Western Downs Regional Council Seeks Alarms Access – Western Downs Regional Council has released a request for tender seeking an alarm and access control solution.
According to council’s release, it’s seeking to determine a suitable solution in which council staff can maintain operative control and security over its facilities and mitigate security issues by knowing who is accessing our facilities and when.
“Council is seeking services in the form of a managed building alarm service and a digital access solution to protect its people sites and assets,” council said in its tender release.
The RFT is broken into 2 parts with part A being for “building security solution services” and part B for “digital access solution services”.
Despite the variable wording in the tender, it seems clear what council needs is an enterprise alarm and access control solution along with an SMS to protect and manage multiple sites in multiple locations across the council area.
Western Downs Regional Council is headquartered in Dalby and manages an area of 37,937 square kilometres with a population of around 35,000. Council is responsible for managing facilities in multiple small townships, each with its own security requirements.
As an example, Western Downs Regional Council operates public libraries in the townships of Bell, Chinchilla, Dalby, Jandowae, Meandarra, Miles, Moonie, Tara, and Wandoan.
This Western Downs Regional Council Seeks Alarms Access tender closes on November 26 – you can find out more here or read more SEN news here.
