Genetec Cloudlink 2210 High-Density Cloud-Managed Appliance – Genetec has released the Cloudlink 2210, a high-density, cloud-managed appliance designed to support enterprise-scale physical security deployments without requiring cloud-only storage or wholesale infrastructure replacement.
The 2U rack-mount appliance is aimed at complex environments seeking cloud-managed models while retaining local processing, storage and operational continuity – that’s common in some security applications. It addresses practical enterprise constraints including cloud storage costs, support for legacy devices without direct-to-cloud capability, and the need to maintain system operation during connectivity disruptions.
Cloudlink 2210 supports video management, access control and intrusion workloads within a single appliance. Built on open architecture, it supports a broad range of third-party cameras, access control systems and intrusion panels. Each appliance supports hundreds of connected devices and provides up to 240 TB of local storage.
RAID-protected storage and redundant system components support data protection and OS availability, while security workloads continue operating locally, independent of cloud connectivity. Dual network interfaces provide redundancy and support network isolation to strengthen cybersecurity.
The platform scales by adding units as device counts and storage requirements grow, with centralised cloud management maintaining visibility and control across distributed deployments. Cloudlink 2210 will be showcased at ISC West in booth 13062 – global shipments start May 2026 through accredited Genetec channel partners.
