Sapio Wins Randwick Council Security Contract For CCTV And Access Control Infrastructure And Services.
Sapio Wins Randwick Council Security Contract – Randwick City Council has awarded a contract for CCTV and access control infrastructure and services to Sapio.
The contract covers a broad scope across council facilities and public spaces, combining design, installation and ongoing maintenance of electronic security systems.
Sapio will be responsible for security design and consultation, including CCTV, alarm systems and access control, with requirements to be developed in consultation with council stakeholders and aligned with current best practice. This applies to both new developments and upgrades to existing sites.
Installation services form a key part of the scope, including deployment of cameras, sensors, locking hardware and control points, along with cabling, network integration, testing and commissioning. Council has retained flexibility to award larger installation packages separately as part of wider delivery programs.
The contract also includes reactive maintenance and minor works, as well as proactive system maintenance, covering availability monitoring, fault response, camera cleaning and mechanical lock servicing. Security patrols and lock-up services are included as an optional component.
Sapio is an Australian security integrator specialising in enterprise and government projects, with experience across design, deployment and lifecycle support of electronic security systems. This is a great contract win for the Sapio team.
Meanwhile for Randwick Council the contract establishes a structured approach to managing security infrastructure across a diverse asset base, combining advisory, delivery and maintenance under a single provider while retaining flexibility for larger capital works.
