Queensland Parliamentary Service Security Tender – Queensland Parliamentary Service has released a tender for the supply and installation of electronic security and access control systems across electorate offices statewide.
The project forms part of a broader upgrade program covering offices used by Members of Parliament across Queensland, with 93 electorate locations included in scope.
From a security perspective, the requirement centres on deployment of electronic access control and associated security systems across a geographically dispersed portfolio, supporting consistent security standards and system capability across all offices.
Operationally, the rollout will require coordination of equipment supply, installation and commissioning across metropolitan and regional locations, with an emphasis on standardisation and system reliability in environments used for public-facing and administrative functions.
Queensland Parliamentary Service supports the operations of the Queensland Parliament and its Members, managing facilities within the Parliamentary Precinct in Brisbane as well as electorate offices distributed across the state. This creates a requirement for scalable and consistent security infrastructure capable of supporting staff, Members and public interaction across multiple sites.
