DAHUA’S night colour technology cameras with superfast lens aperture require no external IR or white-light illumination yet offer good performance down to 1 lux, which is ideal for many applications where ambient light is present during hours of darkness.
The DH-IPC-HFW4239TN-ASE 2MP bullet and the DH-IPC-HDBW4239RN-ASE 2MP dome utilize Dahua night colour technology, using a high-performance sensor and ISP and an achromatic fast F1.0 aperture lens.
This light-sensitive technology allows the cameras to remain in colour mode and to capture more available light to reproduce colour images with superior detail and contrast in applications with at least 1 lux of ambient or artificial light. Dahua says its achromatic fast lens is superior to a traditional lens used in surveillance cameras.
The cameras also incorporate back-illuminated pixel technology and a 1/2.8-inch Sony STARVIS CMOS sensor. In addition to low-light performance, the night colour technology cameras feature Dahua’s enhanced PoE technology, a plug-and-play solution that transmits power and data over long distances via Ethernet or coaxial cables.
