BROKEN Hill City Council’s smart lighting, CCTV and IoT tender has just been awarded.

Valued at more than $A500,000, the integrated solution will be installed by OneWiFi & Infrastructure. Established in 2012, OneWiFi delivers smart applications, public Wi-Fi and analytics services to 1200 locations.

The company also deploys more than 600 sensors across Australia for retail precincts, shopping centres, hospitality venues, and commercial buildings. OneWiFi is a licensed telecommunications carrier offering a range of high speed fixed and wireless internet options.

“Council will capitalise on the opportunities presented in this digital age for the benefit of everyone in Broken Hill – our residents, businesses and visitors alike, to make our region more connected and innovative, with enhanced liveability, workability and sustainability,” said Mayor, Darriea Torley.
