Michael Madigan has joined C.R. Kennedy Surveillance Division in the role of Queensland sales manager for intrusion products.

Madigan has been deeply involved in the electronic security industry his entire career, having joined API electronics and a storeman back in 1980, been promoted to external sales, then appointed as the first branch manager of Direct Alarm Supplies, which was co-founded by Madigan’s brother Pat.

From ’84 to ’89, Madigan was Direct Alarm Supplies’ Sydney branch manager based at Toongabbie, then he moved to Queensland in 1988 to take on the position of state manager. Madigan worked for Precision Alarm Supplies selling the EDM solution alarm panels and NZ-made Star PIRs, established Mainline Security Products in Queensland in 1999, worked for Rechenberg Scurity, then Takex, and most recently, Seadan Security & Electronics. Madigan said he was delighted to be joining CRK and was looking forward to growing the alarm business in Queensland.

“I’d like to warmly welcome Michael to CRK,” said CRK’s Douglas Kennedy. “The addition of Michael and his deep experience to our team fits perfectly with CRK winning distribution of Risco’s range of alarm and home automation solutions. We are all excited about the potential for strong growth in the intrusion sector.”
