QPS Seeks Automatic Number Plate Recognition – Queensland Police Service has released a request for information regarding automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) technology and services.

This QPS RFI includes the following high-level requirements:

* Related specialized technology and products
* Related software
* Related services.

The Queensland Police Service (QPS) is the principal law enforcement agency responsible for policing the Australian state of Queensland, including 336,500km of roads. It has 335 police stations and a staff of around 15,000.
