HID Global Acquires Vizinex RFID

♦ HID Global acquires Vizinex RFID custom RFID tag business, which strengthens the company’s ability to help customers improve tracking, security and authentication.

Founded in 2012, Vizinex’s expertise especially lies in delivering tailor-made RFID tags that are completely integrated into and compatible with different product designs, according to the company.

The applications can be tailored to suit critical attributes such as shape, dimension, frequency and environmental tolerance and are manufactured by the users or can be made in the U.S. to order. Vizinex will merge into HID Global Industrial Smart Components Business Unit.
