A & J Technology Services Wins Toowoomba Council Access Alarms CCTV – A&J Communications has won a contract for the supply, installation, and maintenance of access control, alarms and CCTV infrastructure across council assets.
The scope of works includes specification, design, and supply of all components of CCTV systems including, networked cameras, mobile CCTV infrastructure, servers, software, digital recorders, wireless links, switches/routers, cabling, brackets, racks and other associated equipment relevant to CCTV infrastructure.
Specification, design, supply and installation of all components of access control, alarm systems, including, detectors and signalling devices, alarm systems, power supplies and batteries, intercoms, electric strikes and locks, card readers, and other associated equipment relevant to electronic building security infrastructure. The project includes licencing management on behalf of council and scheduled and unscheduled device hardening.
The project also includes commissioning and documentation updates for CCTV, access control and alarm system assets for all installations, redesigns, modifications, maintenance, and network mapping, provision of warranty of all installed infrastructure and system audits as requested.
A&J will also be conducting routine and non-routine maintenance of CCTV and electronic security infrastructure and software, including complete annual routine inspections/condition assessment of CCTV and electronic security equipment at all council facilities.
The provision of training for operation of VMS and SMS, provision of ASIAL Grade AI alarm monitoring services, consultation and the nomination of a project officer to manage all CCTV works to completion also form part of the scope of works.
