The latest release of OWS introduces AI-powered search and alerting tools designed to reduce manual review of recorded video. AI Visual Search allows operators to query footage using descriptive text, returning relevant results without the need to scrub through timelines or configure filters. AI Visual Check analyses camera views and generates alerts when predefined conditions are not met, with each alert including a summary and supporting image.

OpenEye is also expanding its cloud camera range, including 5MP turret and dome models and a 12MP fisheye camera. These devices support direct-to-cloud deployment and are designed to operate across distributed environments with remote access and centralised management.

Active deterrence functions combine white light illumination with audio output to respond to events in real time. These responses can be automated or escalated to operators based on event rules and analytics, supporting a layered approach to monitoring.

The platform also supports intelligent video monitoring functions, including location-based arming, scheduling and multi-region analytics to manage alerting and reduce nuisance alarms. Additional capabilities include traffic counting using line-crossing analytics, with reporting tools designed to support operational decisions through analysis of movement patterns and occupancy levels.
